SAUK CENTRE - Five days of Stearns County summer fun kicks off on Wednesday.

The Stearns County Fairgrounds are in Sauk Centre (1105 Ash St. S). Attendance at the fair is typically around 30,000 people. Here are some highlights for each day:

Wednesday (Entry Day): The midway opens at 3:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. there will be a rodeo in the outdoor arena.

Thursday (Senior Citizens Day): There will be a senior citizen recognition program from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The demolition derby will be in the grandstand at 7:30 p.m. A market goat show will be in the arena at 8:00 p.m.

Friday (Children's Day): A Lego contest will be at 10:00 a.m. in the 4-H building. Wristbands for rides will be available from noon to 5:00 p.m. Another demo derby will be in the grandstand at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday (Children's Day): A llama show will be at 8:00 a.m. A talent contest will kick off at noon from the Herald Stage. An antique tractor and horse parade will start at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday (Fun For All): There will be a karaoke contest at the Heritage Stage at 1:00 p.m. A pickup and tractor pull contest will be at 7:00 p.m.
