Stearns County Emergency Management Dealing with Flooded Roads, Urging Caution to Drivers

ST. CLOUD - Numerous cities across Stearns County are dealing with flooding after today's storms.

Stearns County Emergency Management says this is leading to several blocked roads, like County Road 157 west of Albany.

County Road 146 south of Clearwater was blocked due to water and a downed tree, but has since been opened.

County Road 21 southwest of St. Nicolas is open, but drivers are being asked to slow down due to 5 inches of standing water on the road.

Emergency Management is also assisting with sandbagging around Beaver Lake on Hwy 15 in St. Augusta due to lakewater rising into area homes.

They're urging you NOT to try and drive through water - it may be too deep, which could result in losing control of your car.
