Stearns County Considering Golf Cart Ordinance

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County will hold a public hearing Tuesday to consider a golf cart ordinance.

The ordinance would regulate the use of golf carts on county roads within certain cities.

The ordinance would cover permit requirements, conditions of use, rights and duties of operators and penalties for violations.

The public hearing will take place during the county board of commissioners meeting at approximately 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The meeting is held in the county board room inside the downtown Administration Center.
