Stearns County Conducting Emergency Training Exercise

ST. CLOUD – Stearns County emergency departments are conducting a test of their Emergency Operations Center today (Tuesday).

The training exercise is expected to last until about 3:00 p.m.

County Spokeswoman Janet Midas says they’re using their radios for this simulated disaster, which has apparently caused some concern in the community.  If you’re listening to a 800 megahertz system and overhear what appears to be a disaster, it is only a test.
