UPDATE: Foley Woman Airlifted to Hospital After Rollover On I-94 Near Albany
ALBANY -- A Foley woman is hurt after a rollover near Albany this (Friday) afternoon.
The incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. on I-94, when a vehicle rolled in the eastbound lanes.
The state patrol says a 2002 Bonneville was heading east at speeds of over 70 mph with the cruise control on, when the driver fell asleep, drifted in the left lane, over-corrected and rolled the vehicle three times coming to a stop on the median.
A passenger, 42-year-old Shannon Schmit of Foley, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, 15-year-old Saylor Schmit, and second passenger, 13-year-old Sutherlin Schmit, both of Foley were not hurt in the crash.
