UPDATE: Eden Valley Man Seriously Hurt In 3 Vehicle Crash In Wright County

WAVERLY - The State Patrol responded to a crash with injuries in Wright County.

The incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Highway 12 near Waverly.

A semi truck driven by 29-year-old Dumitru Lupascu and a car driven by 23-year-old Casey Twardy of Eden Valley were traveling west on Highway 12. Another vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Sarah Hogue-Drusch of Rockford, crossed the median and hit the trailer of the semi. The semi lost control and hit Twardy's vehicle head-on. The vehicle then rolled into the ditch.

Twardy suffered serious injuries. Hogue-Drusch has minor injuries, Lupascu wasn't hurt.
