UPDATE: Mother, 2 Daughters Killed Near Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS -- The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a mother and her two daughters at an icy intersection.

Troopers say an SUV crossed the center line at a Highway 27 intersection in Morrison County and struck a pickup truck head on.

Road conditions were described as icy at the time of the crash Monday about 7 p.m.

The victims are a 31-year-old Melissa Lorenz of Flensburg and her 10-and 7-year-old daughters Angela and Desiree.
