State Patrol Has Found Semi Driver Involved In Near Miss With School Bus

PAYNESVILLE - The State Patrol says they have found a semi driver who passed a stopped school bus with its lights flashing on the right shoulder.

The semi came dangerously close to a sixth-grader who was just about to board. It happened Friday morning on Highway 23 between New London and Paynesville.

State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske says the semi driver contacted the patrol yesterday (Tuesday).

They have not released his name.
