CLEAR LAKE - A Becker woman is accused of running a stop sign, causing a two vehicle crash in Sherburne County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 47-year-old Monica Wesenberg of Becker had hit a turkey with her vehicle prior to the crash.  The turkey had damaged her windshield and she was taking pictures of the damage while she was driving.

Wesenberg was driving west on 37th Street Southeast and went through the intersection on Highway 25.

Wesenberg was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was 41-year-old Kristine Sylvester of Clearwater.  She also has non life threatening injuries. Her vehicle was traveling north on Highway 25.

Sylvester's two passengers were not hurt.

The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. this (Sunday) afternoon.
