State Patrol: Distracted Driver Leaves Road, Hits Pole

DELANO -- A woman was hurt when she became distracted while driving and hit a light pole.

The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 3:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 12 near Delano.

Forty-year-old Lisa Novotny of Montrose was driving east when she left the road and struck the pole.

She suffered non-life threatening injuries.
