UPDATE: Milaca Woman Dies in Crash On Highway 23 In Foreston

FORESTON - There was a deadly crash on Highway 23 in Foreston in Mille Lacs County this (Friday) morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the head-on crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. 20 year-old Shanna Dahlen of Milaca was driving a car eastbound on Highway 23 when she collided with a semi. She was killed in the crash.

The driver of the semi, 61-year-old William Jones of Ogilvie has non-life threatening injuries.

Highway 23 in that area was closed this morning while police cleared the scene. Traffic was being rerouted.
