ST. CLOUD - Last week the State Senate Capital Investment Committee toured local projects requesting bonding money.  Today (Wednesday) it's the State House's turn to check out the projects.

The St. Cloud Correction Facility is asking for $32.5 million to make upgrades to it's intake facility.

The River's Edge Convention Center is asking for $11.5 million to build a new parking ramp in downtown St. Cloud.

Benton County and the city of Sauk Rapids are requesting $6 million to widen County Road 3.

St. Joseph is requesting $3 million to help build a new community center.

Holdingford is asking for $2.2 million to bring natural gas to town.

St. Cloud State University wants $865,000 to start planning for a remodel of Eastman Hall.

And $825,000 is being requested to extend the Lake Wobegon Trail into Waite Park.

The State Legislature goes into session on February 25th. A bonding bill will be one of their top priorities.
