FALCON HEIGHTS  (AP) - The Minnesota State Fair is making accommodations for the heat.

Thursday's temperatures are expected to soar into the upper 90s with a heat index hovering around 100. State Fair organizers will have cooling spots set up with water misting areas near medical aid stations.

The fair will also give away bandanas that can be soaked in ice water at information booths. High school band members taking part in the daily parade at the fair will wear T-shirts instead of their marching band uniforms.
