ST. CLOUD -- The Barnes and Noble bookstore hosted Star Wars Reads Day and various characters from the popular film series came to visit.

Stormtroopers, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Boba Fett were in attendance as local kids came out for a book reading, pictures, and a Lego building session.

Jennie Weber, the Community Business Development Manager at Barnes and Noble, says the store hosts weekly book readings for children in the area.

"We have these storytimes and activities to give kids and their parents a fun thing to come out and participate in as the weather gets colder," Weber says.

"It's just a fun and different option that we give them."

Boba Fett was unavailable for comment.

The St. Cloud Barnes and Noble hosts storytimes and other events on Thursdays and Saturdays, generally around 11:00 a.m.
