ST. PAUL (AP) — St. Paul police are investigating a homicide after a body was found in a parking lot.

Officers were flagged down early Sunday by a person who said a body was lying in the parking lot of a dog park on St. Paul's East Side.

Police found the body, and St. Paul Fire Department paramedics confirmed he was dead. Police have not said whether he was an adult or juvenile.

Authorities don't know the victim's name or cause of death. An autopsy will be conducted.
