MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A St. Paul man has pleaded guilty to fleeing a Minnesota trooper in a chase through downtown Minneapolis that killed an aspiring rock musician from Wisconsin last September.

Thirty-four-year-old Yia Her pleaded guilty Wednesday in Hennepin County to fleeing police and killing one person and injuring another.

The trooper had pulled Her over on Interstate 94 when Her took off and led the trooper on a chase. Her admitted he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 percent, twice Minnesota's limit of 0.08 percent.

Her collided with a car across the Mississippi River. The other driver, 20-year-old Brody Sotona of Spring Valley, Wis., was killed. His passenger, Connor Macklin of Stillwater, was critically injured.

Her admitted he was driving on a suspended license. Sentencing is set for April 10.
