St. Paul Man Gets 18 Years In Fatal Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A St. Paul man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for a drunken driving crash in Minneapolis that killed a Wisconsin man.
A judge handed down the punishment to 35-year-old Yia Her on Wednesday. He pleaded guilty on Monday to fleeing police and killing one person and injuring another.
A Minnesota trooper had pulled Her over in downtown Minneapolis in September 2013 when Her took off. Her collided with another car, killing the 20-year-old driver, Brody Sotona of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, and seriously injuring his passenger, Connor Macklin of Stillwater.
