ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A 24-year-old St. Paul man is charged with murder, after authorities say he strangled a woman during a sexual assault.

Sammy Henderson is charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

The complaint says 30-year-old Sherell Montrese Craighead's bloody body was found by her 7-year-old son, who heard his mom screaming the night before but didn't call 911 when she told him to because he couldn't find a phone. The boy went to his grandma's the next morning and told her what he saw.

Reports say Henderson told police he and Craighead were casual sex partners. The complaint says he admitted he forced anal sex on her and grabbed her neck during sex.

Online court records do not list an attorney for Henderson.
