ST. JOSEPH -- A popular St. Joseph eatery will soon be able to provide you some liquid courage with that omelette.

Kay's Kitchen had their application for a liquor license approved at Monday night's city council meeting. The restaurant will now be able to serve wine, malt liquor and beer.

The restaurant is in the process of starting new hours. Their new hours will be Sunday – Saturday, 5:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Kay's recently announced they'll be expanding by opening a second location in the Midtown Square Mall in St. Cloud, formerly occupied by St. Cloud Family Restaurant, which closed after less than a year of being in business.

The owner, Tanya Finken says their St. Cloud location will have similar hours. The St. Cloud location is set to open in November.
