St. Joseph Man Seriously Hurt In Meeker County Motorcycle Crash

DARWIN - A St. Joseph man was hurt in a motorcycle crash near Darwin. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says it happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday on County Road 14.

Fifty-six-year-old Michael Lodermeier of St. Joseph was driving his motorcycle north with four other motorcyclists.

Lodermeier's bike made contact with another motorcycle driven by 54-year-old John Nelson of Garfield.

Lodermeier was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. Nelson was not hurt.

Lodermeier's motorcycle was a total loss.
