St. Joseph Man Seriously Hurt In Fiery Crash In Northern Minnesota

TOWER – A St.Joseph man has been seriously hurt in a crash in northern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says 44-year-old Carlo Theisen was heading east on Highway 169 in the area of Tower in St. Louis County when his vehicle left the road, went into the ditch, and rolled. His vehicle caught fire. Two passers-by had to pull Theisen from the burning vehicle. He was airlifted to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. yesterday (Thursday) morning.
