St. Joseph Man Hurt In Two Car Crash

HUCHINSON -- A St. Joseph man was hurt after a rear-end crash in McLeod County yesterday (Friday).

The State Patrol says the incident happened at about 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 7 and Sioux Hills Road near Hutchinson.

21-year-old Brandon Rodel, of St. Joseph, was heading east on highway 7, when he stopped for a vehicle in front of him that was turning left and was rear ended by another vehicle.

57-year-old Patsy Ackerman, of Litchfield, was the driver of the second vehicle. She was not hurt in the crash.

Rodel and his passenger 64-year-old Valerie Carlson, of Brainerd, both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
