ST. JOESPH - The St. Joseph City Council has ruled-out the old Kennedy school as a possible future City Hall/Community room.

City Administrator Judy Weyrens says the cost to retrofit the former school was just too high.

Weyrens says another option the council is looking at is building on a vacant lot along County Road 75, which would cost an estimated $4 million to $4.3 million.

The council will meet again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday to continue the discussion.
