St. Cloud’s Unemployment Rate Drops Slightly

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud's unemployment rate dropped from January to February.

The unemployment rate for St. Cloud last month was 6.4%. That's down from January's figure of 6.7% but still higher than the December rate of 5.9%.

Stearns County's February unemployment rate was slightly higher at 6.6%, but lower than Benton County's at 7.7% and Sherburne County's at 8.3%.

St. Cloud is still behind the state as a whole which had a February unemployment rate of 5.7%.
