St. Cloud’s New Police Chief Sworn into Service

Abby Faulkner

ST.  CLOUD – St. Cloud officially has a new Chief of Police. Blair Anderson was sworn into service by Mayor Dave Kleis today at St. Cloud City Hall for his first day on the job.

Anderson briefly addressed attendees, including many members of law enforcement from around the state, by saying he’s determined to be a recognizable face in the community.

Anderson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and comes to St. Cloud after serving as Chief Deputy in the Carver County Sheriff’s Department.

He replaces chief Dennis Ballantine, who retired earlier this year.
