St. Cloud’s Local ‘American Idol’ Connection Sent Packing

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud's local connection to American Idol, Beau Lastavich was sent home last night (Wednesday) during the Hollywood elimination round.

Last night's two hour special sent home many Idol hopefuls. Twenty men and twenty women will be selected to move on in the competition and perform on the live show.

Lastavich received his "Golden Ticket" to Hollywood during the Chicago auditions which aired on FOX at the beginning of January.

The Big Lake native performs in a local band called Dirtee Circus which is a regular at the Keller Bar.

He is in his junior year at St. Cloud State University majoring in Communication Studies.
