St. Cloud Woman Leads Police on Short Chase

ST. CLOUD - A 47-year-old St. Cloud woman is in jail, after leading police on a short chase early this (Monday) morning.

Officers tried to stop the vehicle just after 2:00 a.m. in the 2600 block of County Road 8, after reports of suspicious activity.  Deborah Leary then took off, with her vehicle coming to a stop when she hit a fire hydrant.

Leary is in the Sherburne County Jail and is facing charges of fleeing police in a motor vehicle, giving false information to police, and driving after revocation.  She also had two warrants out on her.
