St. Cloud Woman Hurt When Car Strikes Semi On I-94

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud woman was hurt when the car she was driving struck a semi early Thursday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 2:45 a.m. on westbound Interstate 94, east of Opportunity Drive, in St. Cloud.

Thirty-two-year-old Nicole Shelton was in the left lane when she lost control of her car and hit a semi that was in the right lane.

Shelton was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The semi driver, 35-year-old Daniel Wieman of Owatonna, was not hurt.
