St. Cloud Woman Hurt In Crash Near Albany

ALBANY -  A St. Cloud woman is hurt after crashing into a ditch near Albany.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was called to County Road 10 at County Road 30 shortly after 8:00 a.m. today (Thursday), about five miles south of Albany.

Twenty-one-year-old Rachael Wayne of St. Cloud was traveling south bound on County Road 10 in her jeep when she lost control going around a curve. Wayne went into the ditch, struck the embankment, went airborne, and hit a utility pole on the other side of the road.

Hitting the utility pole caused a temporary power outage.

Wayne was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for her injuries.
