St. Cloud Woman Arrested in Fatal Drug Overdose
ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud woman is jailed on suspicion of murder involving a drug overdose earlier this spring.
The St. Cloud Police Department has arrested 35-year-old Amy Lauer for allegedly giving the narcotic Fentanyl to Ryan Stirling Boen last April. Stirling Boen was found unresponsive in a home in the 1000 block of 22nd Avenue North on April 20th.
An autopsy determined the 33-year-old St. Cloud man had died of drug toxicity related to Fentanyl consumption. Through their investigation, police say Lauer illegally gave Stirling Boen the drugs.
Lauer is being held on charges of 3rd degree murder and 3rd degree sale of a controlled substance. Her first court appearance on the charges has not yet been set.
