St. Cloud Veterans Day Parade to Give Special Honor to Vietnam-Era Veterans

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Veterans Day Parade and Social is on deck for 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

The 10th annual event will be at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center and St. Cloud Apollo High School. The celebration honors both men and women who have served our country.

As part of a national initiative, Vietnam War Commemoration, parade organizers are honoring and encouraging Vietnam veterans to come out to receive recognition from the community.

After wrapping up the parade Vietnam-era veterans will be honored at an open house in the Apollo Commons.

This year's parade route begins on the west side of the VA Medical Center and runs east across 44th Avenue. The parade ends on the north side of Apollo High School.
