ST. CLOUD -- Hundreds of people will be gathering at Lake George this (Thursday) evening for the annual Stroll for Epilepsy Benefit.

This is the 14th year the stroll has been in St. Cloud.

Vicki Kopplin is the Executive Director for the Epilepsy Foundation in Minnesota. She says the stroll is like a family reunion.

One in ten people will have a seizure in their lifetime. Kopplin says the stroll is meant to help bring awareness about epilepsy.

St. Cloud is one of five cities in the state participating in the stroll. Other cities include Duluth, Rochester, Fargo/Moorhead and the Twin Cities Metro.

About 50 teams will walk around Lake George to raise money for the foundation.

Kopplin says they hope to raise about $290,000 from the five walks.

You can sign up for the stroll online or at this evenings event. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. and the walk starts at 6:30 p.m.

If you would like to make a donation you can visit their website at www.efmn.org.
