St. Cloud Technical and Community College to Host Express Enrollment Day

ST. CLOUD -- You can apply, enroll and sign up for college classes all in the same day.

St. Cloud Technical and Community College is hosting an Express Enrollment Day tomorrow (Tuesday).

Director of Admissions, Jodi Elness says anyone can walk in between 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and apply.

"We decided to start something new, we wanted to give students the opportunity to come in and all in one day apply, take the accuplacer test, meet with an adviser, get registered for classes and even talk with some about financial aid," says Elness.

If you're not sure how to apply for financial aid, Elness says advisers will be available.

"On the financial aid side, we will have a lab where we're going to sit down and actually have the students start the FAFSA process, (the free application for student aid).

Express Enrollment Day is beneficial for both the college and students.

Elness says the Express Enrollment Day is designed to help students that have busy schedules and it helps the college bring in students that otherwise might not have applied.
