St. Cloud Tech & Community and College’s Haller Dies

Longtime St. Cloud Tech and Community College Student Life and Activities Director John Haller died Wednesday morning after battling thyroid cancer.  The 51-year old Haller was instrumental in helping to grow the basketball and baseball programs at St. Cloud Tech and Community College.

Vice President of Student Affairs Phil Schroeder called John Haller a "student advocate" and a "true educator".  Schroeder also refers to Haller as a visionary who always put academics ahead of athletics.  He resided in Sauk Rapids and leaves behind his wife Sandy and 3 children.
