St. Cloud Taking Applications for Open Ward 2 City Council Seat

ST. CLOUD - If you live in St. Cloud's Ward 2 can now apply to fill an open seat on the city council. The council declared the vacancy during their meeting this (Monday) evening.

Former councilwoman Nancy Gohman resigned from the council on May 26th.

The deadline to apply for the position is June 18th.

Depending on the number of people who apply, the council plans to narrow the field of candidates, which would then go through an interview process. The council will select their choice on Tuesday, June 23rd.

The appointed person will sit on the St. Cloud City Council until the next citywide election, which will be in November of next year.
