ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud snowplows will be out in full force this evening as the snow continues to pile up on city streets.

Gerald Kaeter is the Assistant Director of Operations and Maintenance. He says they were out pre-treating the roads with anti-icing chemicals before the snow started.

He they will call people in from vacation and from other departments to help clear snow if they need more personnel.

Kaeter says their priority is to keep the roads passable during the storm.  But, Kaeter says they won't be able to start hauling snow away from curbs and medians until after the storm ends.
