ST. CLOUD -- What was left of the Holes Residence Hall at St. Cloud State University came tumbling down this afternoon. Heavy machinery could be seen exiting the former residence hall before the structure collapsed in a cloud of dust.

Demolition started earlier this month. SCSU officials say most of the deconstruction will be done by the time the students return on August 18th, but there will be some finishing work that will last into November.

Holes Hall was the first of potentially several to be removed from campus over the next several years, including Stearns and Mitchell Halls.
