St. Cloud State University Awarded Military Friendly Honors

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud State University has been named one of the nation's top schools for student veterans.

Victory Media has designated the university as a Military Friendly School for 2016.

The award is given to the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country who are doing the most to embrace military students to ensure their success in the classroom and after graduation.

St. Cloud State has been committed to student veterans by offering in-state tuition and waiving application fees for all veterans, as well as participating in Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and Warrior to Citizen programs.

The recognition helps provide service members and their families with transparent, data-driven ratings about post-military education and career opportunities.

St. Cloud State University has earned the military-friendly honor each year since 2009.
