SCHENECTADY, N.Y -- The St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team played an outstanding game last night (Saturday) to stun Union College 3-2.

The Huskies victory snaps the 2014 defending national champs 17-game win streak.

Freshman Judd Peterson collected his first college point with the assist that sealed the victory.

Senior forward Brooks Bertsch took the assist to score his first goal of the season and the one that helped the #9 Huskies defeat #2 Union.

The Huskies out-shot Union 39-24 in the contest.

The Huskies will come home to face #1 Minnesota this weekend (Oct. 31st) at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Drop of the puck is 7:37 p.m.
