St. Cloud Sertoma Club Honors Local Humanitarian

The St. Cloud area Sertoma Club has selected their recipient of the annual “SERvice TO MAnkind” award.

Jan Hanson of Sartell is the co-founder of the organization “200 Orphanages Worldwide.” It was created in 2008, and seeks to create awareness and raise funds for orphanages in places like Haiti, Uganda and Rwanda. Hanson was inspired to create 200 orphanages after a couple of trips to Peru.

Sertoma is a community service club that was started in 1912.
