ST. CLOUD-- A little home cooking was just what the St. Cloud Rox needed as they defeated the Thunder Bay border cats 6-0 in their home opener.

The Rox got an excellent pitching performance from Logan Salow striking out ten batters total, allowing only three hits and one walk in seven scoreless innings.

St. Cloud was able to find some offense as well thanks to TJ Friedl who showed off his wheels by stealing a base and scoring on a wild pitch. As well as hitting a two-run triple giving the Rox a six run cushion heading into the final frame of the game.

The team moves to 1-4 on the season and will face the border cats this (Sunday) afternoon at Joe faber field. First pitch is at 1:05 pm
