St. Cloud Regional Airport Still Waiting On Federal Grant For Airline [AUDIO]
ST. CLOUD – The St. Cloud Regional Airport is still waiting to hear if they’ll receive a grant from the federal government, in an effort to attract an air carrier.
Airport Director Bill Towle says they’ve already raised well over $100,000 locally, which will hopefully help secure the grant.

Towle says “The Small Community Air Service Development Grant” would be worth $750,000. The money would be used as a subsidy for any airline that agrees to provide two daily flights to Chicago.
He says he’s hoping to know if they get the grant within a month.
