ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Police Department responded to multiple car accidents yesterday (Thursday).

Officers responded to Wilson Avenue and 2nd Street SE at about 10:30 a.m.

80-year-old Mary Heinzen was turning onto 2nd Street SE when she struck a sign and then a tree.

She was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries. Heinzen faces possible criminal charges of impaired driving.

Later that day officers were called to St. Germain Street East and 6th Avenue NE after a car hit a pedestrian.

The incident happened at about 12:30 p.m.

31-year-old James Holt, of Monticello, was traveling East on St. Germain when he hit an 18-year-old man while riding his bike.

The victim was taken to the St. Cloud ER for a leg injury. Holt was cited for failing to yield to a cross walk.
