St. Cloud Police Respond to False Robbery Report

ST. CLOUD -- Police aren't sure what to make of a robbery call this (Tuesday) morning.

Assistant police chief Jeff Oxton says they got a call from someone around 9 this morning saying they were held up by another person at Division and 28th Avenue North, near Panera Bread.

Authorities set-up a perimeter and called in a police dog. But soon discovered, the robbery never happened.

Oxton says while they're still investigating the situation, there's no danger to the general public.
