ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police are looking for a suspect after an attempted robbery.

Police say the incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at a business in the 10 block of Wilson Avenue Northeast.

A suspect entered the store and eventually approached an employee at the counter. The suspect demanded money saying they had a gun in their pocket. When the employee refused, the suspect left the store. A gun was never seen, no money or items were taken during the incident and nobody was hurt.

The suspect appeared to be a black woman, but may have been a man portraying they were a woman. The suspect is 5'6", between 18-30 years of age and had a thin build. They were wearning a black hooded sweatshirt with an orange "New Flyer" logo, black pants, black canvas type shoes with black leggings, a baseball cap under the hood, black glasses, a black belt with silver studs and long gold colored acrylic finger nails.

When police arrived, the suspect had already left the business on foot. Officers set up a perimeter and attempted to track the suspect with a K-9, but were unsuccessful.
