ST. CLOUD -- Another step this week in St. Cloud's efforts to attract an airline.

A delegation of airport officials and the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation are in Sacramento, California to meet with a number of airlines.

Airport Director Bill Towle doesn't expect to come back with an agreement just yet. He says it is a lengthy process that requires several meetings before a deal can be inked.

St. Cloud is working to attract an airline that would provide direct flights to Chicago's O'Hare Airport. So far, businesses have earmarked more than $3.3-million in travel commitments as a way to bait an airline to come here.
