St. Cloud Native Riding Out Hurricane Sandy [AUDIO]

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA – Hurricane Sandy is bearing down on the Eastern Seaboard, forcing the shutdown of mass transit, schools and financial markets. And, while it’s not affecting us here in the Midwest, a lot of people from Central Minnesota are riding out the storm out east.
Spencer Brown was born and raised here in St. Cloud. He’s a freshman in Regent University in Virginia Beach. He says he’s not seeing the worst of it.

Brown says he has been in contact with his parents and family here in St. Cloud, and he’s reassured them that he is safe. This is his first experience in dealing with a hurricane.
