St. Cloud Metro Unemployment Rate Drops in April

ST. CLOUD - The unemployment rate for the St. Cloud metro dropped last month.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says our unemployment rate is now at 5.8 percent, down from 6.1 percent back in March.

Our local rate is still higher than the statewide average of 5.4 percent, but we're still well below the national average of 7.5 percent.
