St. Cloud Metro Area Unemployment Goes Down In July

UNDATED - The unemployment rate in the St. Cloud metro area went down in July.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're now at 4.2 percent.  That's down from the 4.5 percent we had in June.

The St. Cloud metro area is now slightly lower than the statewide average, which is 4.3 percent.

The national unemployment rate is 6.5 percent.
