St. Cloud Mayor Kleis Heading to Washington, D.C. [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is heading to Washington, D.C. this week.

Kleis, along with Area Planning Organization Director Scott Mareck, are making their annual trip to the nation’s capitol to lobby for transportation funding.

While Kleis is in Washington, he’ll also be meeting with the newly formed Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative. He’s the co-chair of the organization made-up of about 40 mayors. They plan to reveal their goals this week.

That same organization will be here in St. Cloud this June.
